Jake Paul has thrown down the gauntlet with a $3million offer to Tommy Fury, aiming to put an end to their ongoing feud with a rematch in the ring.

The two had previously clashed in 2023, where Fury narrowly emerged victorious in a closely-fought battle in Saudi Arabia. Since then, rumours of a rematch have been circulating, but nothing concrete has come to fruition. The pair have continued to exchange verbal jabs over the past couple of years.

Last week, Paul grabbed the spotlight by boldly challenging two-time heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua. Fury didn’t waste any time responding to Paul’s remarks, taking a swipe at the American. Following a brief back-and-forth on X – the platform formerly known as Twitter – Paul disclosed the sole condition for a rematch with the British fighter, despite earlier claims he was done with the idea. In a social media post, ‘The Problem Child’ urged his arch-nemesis to accept a $3m deal to ‘run it’ back this year, reports All Out Fighting.

His message read: “You still drunk? You turned down $6M plus upside to headline Netflix against me. Your dadager and you may be the two dumbest dingbats the UK has ever created. Oh and you can’t travel to the US you w*****…sooooo. Ship has sailed unless you take $3M and we run it in 2025. Let us know. You literally have ZERO opportunity other than fighting me or the other jumping jack pullout artist.”

Tyson Fury has shut down any notion of agreeing to Jake Paul’s terms, after learning he would make less than their first bout. In a scathing rebuff to ‘The Problem Child,’ the Brit fired back: “Why would I agree to that when it’s less than our first fight AND I beat you. You’re deluded. You claim to be a good businessman, if you want to talk business properly, I’m there. But don’t throw me stupid offers you know won’t get accepted.”

He continued to lambast Paul, saying, “It’s clear to see that you’re just using the money as an excuse to get away from this rematch. You brag about making $50M for fights but yet won’t pay up for the only real fight you have left. Showing your true colours my friend. Keep running scared. I’ll see you very soon.”

Fury even included a series of duck emojis and tagged the post with ‘#DuckPaul’ to emphasise his taunt. So far, the social media star and boxer hasn’t clapped back at Fury’s comments but it’s probably just a matter of time before we witness a counterstrike.

All these heated exchanges happened right after Fury responded to Paul’s earlier hesitation to have a rematch, expressing disdain towards the American fighter. His post was a staunch message: “No worries at all mate, hope that loss doesn’t eat you up too much. Just know, that you never had enough balls to try and avenge your loss. You’re right, we are different. I’m a winner and you’re a loser.”

In response to the shocking revelation that Paul is aiming to take on Joshua, boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has dismissed the potential match-up, asserting that no commission would ever permit ‘The Problem Child’ to face off against ‘AJ’. “I don’t think there’s a commission, really, that should allow that kind of fight,” Hearn stated on The Sports Agents podcast. “But you know, we’ve just seen him [Jake Paul] fight a 60-year-old [Mike Tyson]. And that was ridiculous. Look, Jake Paul is an active cruiserweight, right? He’s nowhere near world level… I thought it was disgusting, to be honest with you.”
