Andrew Tate will make his boxing debut in December when he takes on Chase DeMoor – but fans are convinced he is setting himself up for another fight

Boxing fans are convinced Andrew Tate will ultimately fight KSI after the influencer was named ‘Misfits CEO’.

Tate will make his boxing debut with the promotion in Dubai on December 20 when he takes on their heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor. And in announcing the fight, Misfits boss Mams Taylor claimed Tate had replaced KSI as the CEO of his company.

“Welcome to your new CEO, it wasn’t a hostile takeover, but it was certainly planned, and Mams and I are going to be working together to finally put Misfits where it belongs on the world stage,” Tate said. “The largest disruptive force in sports entertainment history, so considering that somebody that failed at their obligations to make this organisation as big as it should’ve been has been ousted and I’m the new CEO.”

KSI later took to social media to respond, fuming: “This year people are trying to test me fr. WHAT THE ACTUAL F*** IS GOING ON? This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Let’s make ANDREW TATE THE CEO OF MISFITS?!? ARE YOU F****** SERIOUS?!?. Bro has been focused on Misfits rather than managing me lol. And you decide to do this s***”

But fans did not appear be fooled and immediately predicted the row would end in KSI fighting Tate for the role of CEO. “Nobody is falling for this WWE storyline,” said one fan, while another added: “Guess you will have to fight for the CEO spot…” Another fan got right down to business, saying: “This is very obviously marketing for an upcoming Misfits fight to draw in viewers. KSI cannot be replaced without prior knowledge especially given the fact he is a shareholder and co-founder.”

Tate rose to prominence as a controversial influencer known for his misogynistic views. He currently faces an ongoing investigation into alleged human trafficking in Romania and faces a civil lawsuit in the High Court in London from four women who accuse him of sexual violence and coercive control. Tate denies all accusations.

KSI has not fought since he lost to Tommy Fury over two years ago having cancelled his fight with Dillon Danis earlier this year. He has been at the forefront of the influencer boxing scene since he beat Joe Weller in 2018 and then Logan Paul a year later.
