Skai Jackson is dealing with legal troubles.
The Jessie alum was arrested for a domestic incident at the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park Aug. 9, according to an Aug. 13 statement to E! News from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office.
Based on the initial investigation, it was determined that Jackson was the “primary aggressor,” and she “was arrested for misdemeanor spousal battery,” per police.
The 22-year-old was transported to the West Hollywood Station for booking, and based on public arrest records viewed by E! News was released hours later. Per the arrest record, Jackson’s bail was originally set at $20,000.
The Sheriff’s Department noted that the investigation into Jackson’s misdemeanor is still ongoing and will be sent to the Van Nuys Superior Court House in Los Angeles for filing.
E! News has reached out to Jackson’s reps for comment, but has not heard back.
The former Disney Channel star has not commented on the incident publicly, but has remained active on social media, sharing a photo to Instagram Aug. 11 from the Variety Power of Young Hollywood on Aug. 8 with the caption, “Thank you @variety.”
