Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s friend, singer Todrick Hall claimed that the dancer, who died by suicide last month, was “under a lot of pressure” due to the toxic workplace scandal at Ellen DeGeneres’s show.

The 64-year-old talk show host was dragged through the mud in 2020 by her staff members who alleged racism, intimidation, and sexual harassment while working on the talk show, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Following the allegations, the show eventually went off-air after 19 seasons (almost 20 years) in May 2022. The 37-year-old singer opened up about the pressure Boss felt following the scandal, considering the dancer was a regular on the show since 2012.

“People were looking at him like, ‘Why are you still supporting this woman,” Hall told PageSix in an interview published Wednesday. “And I think he was under a lot of pressure.”

“I don’t know what was going on in his life that may [have led] him to make that decision but I do understand,” he added. “Right now, when I get online some days like right now, if I was in the wrong position of where this abuse would keep happening for years and years and years, there’s only so much a human being can take.”

Hall shared that Boss always “supported” him and was also a “kind and down to earth” person. The singer recalled that the dancer visited his house a couple of times and they even shot TikTok videos together.

Boss worked as a DJ on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and became a co-executive producer on the show in 2020. Boss was found dead at a hotel in Los Angeles on Dec. 13. He was 40.

The dancer is survived by his wife Allison Holker, 34, and two children, Maddox, 6, and Zaia, 3. He also adopted Holker’s 14-year-old daughter named Weslie from her previous relationship.

Following the tragic news, several celebrities paid tribute including Snoop Dogg, DeGeneres, Nigel Lythgoe, Leah Remini, Zendaya, Lori Harvey and Yara Shahidi.
