Aryna Sabalenka vs Qinwen Zheng, Aus Open Live: Defending champion Aryna Sabalenka takes on China’s Qinwen Zheng in the Australian Open women’s singles final at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. The Belarusian Sabalenka will bid to become the first woman to defend the Australian Open title since 2013, but Zheng has her own date with destiny. Sabalenka yet to drop a set in Melbourne this year, sweeping all-comers aside until fourth seed Coco Gauff put up a stiffer challenge in the semi-finals.

    In the second match of the first set, Aryna Sabalenka takes an early 15-0 lead. However, Qinwen Zheng quickly makes it 15-all but Sabalenka holds her nerves and ends the round with 40-15 scoreline. Sabalenka is currently 2-0 up in the first set.

    Aryna Sabalenka is off to a terrific start in the final. After taking the serve, she registers a scoreline of 40-0 in the opening game of the first set and takes the early lead against Qinwen Zheng.
