Natalie Portman is feeling thankful.

For her 43rd birthday this year—which comes three months after she and ex Benjamin Millepied finalized their divorced after 11 years of marriage—the V for Vendetta actress took to social media to share a sweet shoutout to her friends.

“This year, on my birthday,” she began her June 9 Instagram post, which featured a carousel of images from around the world, “I want to celebrate my gratitude for my friends who lift me up again and again.”

And in addition to the friends featured in her post, a number of Hollywood pals made sure to wish Natalie a happy birthday in the comments.

“Happy Birthday, you incredible diamond of a human! I love you,” wrote Reese Witherspoon, while Isla Fisher—who announced her split from husband Sacha Baron Cohen earlier this year—wrote, “Ports I love you. Happy Birthday. I’m so grateful you were born.”

In March, Benjamin and Natalie—who share son Aleph, 12, and daughter Amalia, 7—finalized their divorce in France, where the two lived in addition to Los Angeles. The confirmation of their split came a year after multiple outlets reported that Benjmain—whom Natalie met on the set of Black Swan—had engaged in an affair.
