The RCMP review in to the 2022 mass stabbing in two Saskatchewan communities has been released.
The review looked into the force’s handling of a series of fatal stabbings at James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon and the arrest of the man responsible.
Julia Peterson, a reporter with the Saskatoon Star Phoenix, joins the show to discuss what the RCMP review found, what recommendations have been made, and whether this review, coupled with two coroner’s inquests, gives the community closure.
