The 2024 Summer Olympics are set to kick off in Paris this week, and Canada enters the games looking to build off a Tokyo medal haul that was our best since the boycotted games in 1984.
Canadian athletes look strong in the pool and on the track, but there are a number of other participants who could help make this one of our best Olympics.
National sports writer Dan Barnes joins the show to discuss how this games will be different than the COVID-era games in Tokyo and Beijing, who are Canada’s strongest medal contenders, and who else could find themselves on the podium.
