Yulia Chaladze was born in a small village on the border of Ukraine and Russia, where nature was an integral part of her life. Her parents owned several country houses, which kept the family constantly connected to the natural world. Yulia’s mother, an expert in natural remedies, always used facial oils and masks that she made herself. Even now, in her 60s, her mother looks fantastic without ever having resorted to fillers or Botox, a practice Yulia has also embraced.
Yulia’s first trip to the USA was as an 18-year-old exchange student, and the country captivated her heart. She loved everything about it—the freedom, the people, and even the big supermarkets. However, when her student visa expired, she had to return to Russia and settled in Moscow. There, she found a job as a marketing and administrative manager at an international company. The stress of the job led to a severe eating disorder that plagued her for the next 15 years. Despite a successful career, Yulia was deeply unhappy, and her health, skin, nails, and hair suffered as a result.
Determined to find a solution, Yulia began therapy, which helped immensely. She also became passionate about natural ways to improve her health and skin. She explored techniques such as manual face massages, lymphatic drainage, Gua Sha, Buccal massage, acupuncture massage, facial taping, and posture exercises. By 2017, Yulia realized that the human body has an amazing capacity for self-healing, and she was inspired to help others benefit from these natural methods.
Yulia earned her beauty license in Moscow, trained with top skin experts, and took numerous classes and personal trainings. Her newfound passion for natural skin rejuvenation techniques led her to move to the USA permanently.
With dreams and determination, Yulia arrived in Los Angeles with little money and few friends. She had to re attend beauty school to obtain her California beauty license and continued investing in her education, spending around $10,000 annually on courses and classes. Her motto has always been: “Never stop learning. Never think you know everything.”
Opening her skincare studio in Los Angeles was a challenging journey, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Yulia worked in a medical spa while building her own practice, learning the hard way that managing a business is no easy task. But it was a journey worth taking.
At Esthetics.LA, Yulia witnesses transformations every day. Seeing the improvement in her clients after natural facial treatments fills her with awe. Her work goes beyond the skin’s surface; she addresses clients’ emotions, traumas, depression, and anxiety. The power of human touch during treatments like Buccal Massage and face contouring massage is unmatched by any machine. Her clients feel more relaxed, rejuvenated, and happy, with reduced TMJ pain, facial tension, and a more balanced appearance.
Many of Yulia’s clients have even chosen to forego Botox and other injections, opting for a natural approach instead. At 40, Yulia has never had any injections on her face or body. She believes that natural activity, proper posture, a balanced diet, and a positive outlook are key to maintaining youthful skin.
Having fully recovered from her eating disorder for four years now, Yulia has relearned how to treat her body and soul, how to eat normally, and how to be at peace with herself. She appreciates life much more now than she did in her 20s.
Yulia is a happy person today, and she truly believes in the work she does. Nothing feels more satisfying than seeing the positive changes in her clients. At the end of the day, it’s all about energy and the power of giving.
