The house where Meghan Markle stayed while living in Toronto has been listed for $1.8 million, making it the second property linked to British royalty to hit the market this summer.
Markle’s former residence is a three-bedroom, two bathroom home in the Annex’s Seaton Village neighbourhood, according to its listing on real estate site Realtor.ca. It is described as spacious and stylized, with three sun-filled bedrooms and two spa-inspired bathrooms.

Markle was photographed by paparazzi outside the home when her relationship with Prince Harry went public in 2016. In a Netflix docuseries about the royal couple called Harry & Meghan, Markle discuses having to call Toronto police over safety concerns.
The home was listed this week and an open house to view the property is set for Aug. 24.
Another property with connections to British royalty was listed in July by Princess Diana’s brother.
Charles Spencer and his Canadian wife, Karen, who were married for 13 years, announced they would be getting a divorce the month before.
In 2020, the couple purchased their Muskoka cottage, which came with an $8 million price tag.
Once again, the Muskoka property hit the real estate market — this time at a significantly higher price of $10.4 million.
The cottage is located on the coveted Lake Rousseau and boasts a games room, floor to ceiling windows, and a wine cellar with three plus two bedrooms and five bathrooms, per the listing on Realtor.ca.
Another notable Canadian property that hit the market this summer includes a mansion in Paris, Ont. with its own postal code.

The Paris, Ont. residence, roughly 90 minutes from Toronto, is owned by Canadian entrepreneur Salah Bachir and was listed at $4.8 million in June, the National Post reported. According to Sotheby’s, the Gothic Victorian estate built in 1854 is now listed at $4.2 million.
As well as its own postal code, it has five fireplaces, 18 chandeliers (including 12 custom-crafted Murano chandeliers made by the renowned Vetreria Artistica Galliano Ferro, per Sotheby’s) and a saltwater pool.
Last year, a castle in Nova Scotia was listed for just under $1 million. It was purchased by an Ontario woman in January 2024, Global News reported.
Castle Moffett, located in Cape Breton, sits on 163 acres of land and was previously a five-star bed and breakfast, the National Post reported in November 2023.
