Kelly Stafford Shares Update on Kids’ Hospitalization Ahead of Husband Matthew Stafford’s Game

Kelly Stafford may have been down, but she’s not out.

Days after two of her four daughters with Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford were hospitalized, the football WAG detailed her family’s frightening health ordeal amid the ongoing L.A. wildfires.

“We were battling the flu over here,” she confirmed on the Jan. 15 episode of her Morning After podcast. “I think I was in bed for at least 48 hours. Did not get up.”

The Rams’ Jan. 13 home game against the Minnesota Vikings was relocated to Glendale, Ariz., due to the blaze, with the team and their families being flown in ahead of the faceoff—but as Kelly and her kids battled the flu, she admitted she was reluctant to get onboard.

“We were sick on that flight,” the 35-year-old continued. “And there was a huge guilt factor to me going, ‘Should we be on this plane right now?’ Because of everyone surrounding us and everyone who has to play this game.”
