New Delhi:

After 105 days of tension, drama, laugh and cry, television star Karan Veer Mehra  emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 18. He beat his fellow contestant Vivian Dsena in the finale and took home the cash prize of Rs 50 Lakh along with the trophy.

From the very beginning, Karan hogged the limelight, be it for his heated arguments with Vivian Dsena or his equation with co-contestant Chum Darang, for whom he expressed his affection on national television.

Karan’s equation with Shilpa Shirodkar was one of the talking points of the show, topped with drama and emotional turmoil.

Sharing the pictures with the trophy, Karan Veer Mehra wrote on his Instagram, “The moment we all have been waiting for is finally HERE! JANTA KA LAADLA has won.”

He added, “Bigg Boss 18 ka asli hero is back to his backbones and with the Trophy as promised. You all have showed the true power of the neutral audience. #KVMNation and #KaranKeVeeron, this victory belongs to you.” Take a look:

Rajat Dalal, Vivian Dsena, Karan Veer Mehra, Chum Darang, Avinash Mishra, and Eisha Singh were the top 6 contenders this season. While Chum Darang and Eisha Singh were eliminated in the first phase,  Rajat Dalal and Avinash Mishra’s elimination followed that.

Bigg Boss 18 began with 23 housemates including Shilpa Shirodkar, Chahat Pandey, Kashish Kapoor, Sara Arfeen Khan, Arfeen Khan, Digvijay Singh Rathee, Edin Rose, Yamini Malhotra, Aditi Mistry, Alice Kaushik, Muskan Bamne, Tajinder Bagga, Shehzada Dhami, Nyrraa Banerjee, Hema Sharma, and Gunratan Sadavarte.

The Finale, hosted by Salman Khan, witnessed some remarkable performances. Veer Pahariya attended the finale to promote his debut film Sky Force. Salman Khan and the actor matched steps to a song.

Aamir Khan delighted fans as he reunited with his Andaz Apna Apna co-star Salman Khan on the Bigg Boss stage for the first time. The superstars recreated a scene from the iconic film. Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor were also a part of the finale as they came to promote their film Loveyapa.
