Donald Trump has done some redecorating.
Less than a month after the 47th president was sworn in, some of the new artwork now inside the West Wing have been revealed—including a framed photo of his infamous August 2023 mugshot hanging just outside the Oval Office.
The mugshot (framed in an ornate gold frame) could be seen in the background of a photo taken during Trump’s Feb. 13 meeting with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi alongside Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum.
In the photo, Trump is dressed in a suit with a white shirt and red tie, smizing at the camera in front of a black background. Although he had been indicted three times before that year for charges including falsifying business records, conspiracy related to Jan. 6, and willful retention of national defense information, Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail—where he faced charges including making false statements and writings as well as violating Violation of the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act for working to overturn the 2020 election results in Fulton County—was the only to require him to pose for a mug shot.
