WALL Street’s main indexes opened lower on Friday (Mar 7) after data showed less-than-expected improvement in job growth in February, while investors awaited comments from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 76 points, or 0.18 per cent, at the open to 42,503.07. The S&P 500 fell 12.5 points, or 0.2 per cent, at the open to 5,726.01, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 39.4 points, or 0.22 per cent, to 18,029.848 at the opening bell. REUTERS
