A Tennessee man is facing serious allegations.
Jonathan Belk has been accused of killing 18-year-old Billy Jean Floyd on March 8 after allegedly finding him in bed with his wife Jada Gholston, according to police records obtained by News Channel 9.
Sequatchie County authorities discovered Floyd’s body, which was in a fetal position, stuffed in Belk’s trash can, according to the documents. Gholston, 31, was found at a nearby emergency room with multiple stab wounds that were determined as non-life threatening.
Belk, 41, had come home to Floyd in his bed with Gholston, according to the police report obtained by the station. Authorities also wrote that he was “standing in his doorway covered in blood” when they reached the residence.
While being questioned by the authorities, Belk—who is now at the Sequatchie County Jail—expressed concerns about his marriage, admitting, according to the police report, “I am worried about my relationship with my wife due to the fact that I offed him.”
