Prepare to be amazed by Jenna Ortega’s return to Nevermore Academy.
The actress—who plays the titular Wednesday Addams in Wednesday—teased the highly-anticipated return of the Netflix series, revealing that the second season only gets better as it progresses.
“Some of the footage that we shot in Wednesday season two, especially in the last episode, is some of my favorite footage from the show,” she told E! News’ Francesca Amiker in an exclusive interview. “Which is very exciting for me.”
The 22-year-old went on to credit the show’s executive producer Tim Burton, who also directed several episodes, with bringing out everyone’s best work on set.
“Tim really had a ball,” she continued. “Everything is very graphic and it’s very exciting and inspiring to work with someone like that who gets you excited about the shots that you’re doing every day.”
Jenna—who also stars in the new horror comedy Death of a Unicorn, which hits theaters March 28—added that the iconic director helped her stay motivated during the season’s lengthy shoot.
