Dave Coulier Shuts Down “Negative Comments” About John Stamos’ Support Amid His Cancer Battle
Everywhere you look, everywhere you go, people are celebrating Dave Coulier’s good news.
Five months after the Full House star learned he had stage three Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, he is now cancer-free, his rep confirmed to People March 31.
Shortly after the exciting update, the 65-year-old’s Fuller House costar Candace Cameron Bure celebrated the news.
“DAVE IS CANCER FREE!!!!” she wrote on Instagram alongside pictures with Dave and his wife Melissa Coulier. “Join me in celebrating this AMAZING news — let’s shower him with all the love in the world!”
Among the many comments of joyous toasts, Dave wrote alongside a heart emoji, “Love you so much, poopoo.”
Before he was officially declared cancer-free, Dave had been optimistic about his prognosis because he recently received positive results from doctors.
“Melissa and I waited for a week to get the biopsy results back, and there is no sign of cancer,” he told Parade in an interview published March 31. “One of the few times in my life when ‘zero’ has been a great number to hear.”
