Meghan Trainor knows she made you look.
The “All About That Bass” singer addressed her recent weight loss transformation in a post on social media, citing several ways she changed her body—including the use of a GLP-1 injectable medication.
“I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy,” she wrote on Instagram March 31. “And I’m so glad I did because I feel great.”
The mom of two—who shares sons Riley, 4, and Barry, 21 months, with husband Daryl Sabara—admitted she doesn’t “look like I did 10 years ago,” but noted that in her case, that’s proven to be a good thing.
“I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself,” she went on, “for my kids and for me.”
And that’s why Meghan got candid on using Mounjaro—an injectable medicine that lowers blood sugar levels and reduces appetite—to shed the pounds.
