[SINGAPORE] StarHub signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday (May 19) with Trends and Technologies, a systems integrator and enterprise ICT solutions provider headquartered in the Philippines, to bring digital solutions and services to businesses in the Philippines.

At its core, the partnership is focused on delivering practical innovation through a unified go-to-market strategy in the Philippines, and includes co-developed bundled offerings and coordinated sales and marketing efforts.

It will deliver integrated solutions built on StarHub’s Modern Digital Infrastructure platform, which is powered by multi-cloud infrastructure Cloud Infinity and its managed services capabilities.

This venture is part of the telco’s broader strategy to grow its enterprise presence across the region through high-impact local collaborations.

Backed by the expertise of Trends and Technologies in cybersecurity, managed services, and systems integration, the partnership will offer enterprises scalable solutions with strong local support.

The goal is to accelerate the adoption of transformative technology, empowering enterprises to innovate in a more agile manner.

“In Singapore, we’ve seen how this approach helps organisations simplify transformation and drive meaningful outcomes,” said Tan Kit Yong, head of Enterprise Business Group at StarHub. “Together with Trends and Technologies, we are bringing that same focus to the Philippines, making innovation more accessible, practical, and connected to real business needs and people.”

Earlier on May 9, StarHub reported a profit of S$31.8 million for the first quarter ended Mar 31, a drop of 18.4 per cent from S$38.9 million in the corresponding year-ago period. Its revenue for the three months fell 2.4 per cent year on year to S$540.5 million, from S$553.9 million.

As at 4.29 pm, shares of StarHub were trading 0.9 per cent or S$0.01 lower at S$1.14.
