The result: A slew of ebony-hued, decidely tailored fashions from the likes of Versace, Saint Laurent, Valentino and Jean Paul Gaultier.
Previously, she admitted, “I was such a people pleaser; I was so desperate to be whatever I felt people wanted me to be.” As such, she continued, “I felt like the traditional beauty standards really affected me; they didn’t always resonate with me.”
