Sadly, nothing is going to fix Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson’s romance.

Indeed, the couple has called it quits eight years after they first began dating in 2017, and confirmed their engagement last March, multiple sources told People.

E! News has reached out to reps for Chris and Dakota but has not yet heard back.

The Coldplay frontman—who shares Apple Martin, 21, and Moses Martin, 19, with ex Gwyneth Paltrow—and the Fifty Shades of Grey star were first linked in October 2017 when they were photographed grabbing a bite at the celebrity hot spot Sushi Park in Los Angeles.

Chris and Dakota were seen out several times in the following months, with Dakota even attending one of Martin’s concerts in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for Coldplay’s Head Full of Dreams tour.

As their romance progressed, Dakota became a regular fixture at Chris’ shows, and even toured with him, but it wasn’t until her dad Don Johnson seemingly confirmed their romance in January 2018 that the relationship became official.
