What happens in Fiji doesn’t always stay on Fiji, as it turns out.
With two popular reality series filmed within the archipelago—Survivor and Love Island USA—fans recently wondered whether the two shows ever experience any crossover during their simultaneous filming dates, whether it be seeing the other series’ contestants in airports or on the islands themselves.
The answer, according to Love Island USA host Ariana Madix? Yes.
“A former Survivor contestant,” Ariana revealed in the comment section of a fan’s TikTok, “told me they could hear the villa from their island sometimes and see the lights off in the distance.”
After all, as the Vanderpump Rules alum added, “There’s like no light pollution here so any light really travels lol.”
Plus, former Survivor contestant Janani Jha, who was on the series in 2023, offered up her own experience. “Fun fact,” she wrote under the same video, “our ponderosa for s45 was the same hotel that love island USA filmed in :)”
To which Ariana responded, “Hey bestie, I love that fact!!”
