[SINGAPORE] Singapore Airlines (SIA) is partnering Mandai Wildlife Group, which oversees Singapore’s wildlife parks, to co-create customer experiences and enhance the national carrier’s offerings.
Under a three-year strategic partnership, SIA customers will gain access to curated wildlife experiences, exclusive co-branded retail collections and benefits for visits to Mandai Wildlife Reserve, which is managed by Mandai Wildlife Group, said the two companies in a joint statement on Thursday (Jul 10).
The tie-up also aligns with the Republic’s vision of being a city in nature, they added.
Through SIA’s travel experiences platform Pelago, visitors to Singapore will be able to access promotions and experiences at the wildlife parks under Mandai Wildlife Reserve, which include the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders, Bird Paradise and Rainforest Wild Asia
They will also get access to special co-branded merchandise that is available for purchase online at KrisShop and selected retail stores at Mandai Wildlife Reserve.
Members of SIA’s frequent flyer programme KrisFlyer will enjoy additional benefits such bonus miles when purchasing admission tickets via Pelago.
They will also be able to redeem miles for experiences such as Colugo Camp – a camping experience to be launched in the third quarter of 2025 – that comes with a mystery gift.
Under the tie-up, the two companies will also collaborate on wildlife conservation efforts, with SIA providing air travel sponsorships and other forms of logistical support.
These could include assistance in the transfer of animals between Singapore’s wildlife parks and other accredited zoos around the globe, as well as the repatriation of wildlife to their native habitats.
