Hailey Bieber is setting the record straight.
The model’s rep shut down speculation that her husband Justin Bieber held off on finalizing his $31.5 million financial dispute with former manager Scooter Braun until after her $1 billion dollar Rhode Skin deal went through so she could foot the bill.
“The historic sale of Rhode is a huge accomplishment for Hailey,” Hailey’s rep shared in a July 17 statement to Daily Mail, “and is completely separate from her husband and his business affairs.”
Prior to the Rhode Skin founder’s clarification, reports circulated that Justin—who shares son Jack Blues Bieber, 11 months, with Hailey—didn’t have the money to pay Scooter the $31.5 million they reportedly agreed upon to make up for unpaid commissions and an owed advance that resulted from him canceling his 2022 Justice tour.
And while Justin has yet to publicly address his financial agreement with Scooter, he previously showed his support for Hailey after she sold her Rhode Skin brand to e.l.f. Beauty in a $1 billion deal back in May.
