Duane “Dog” Chapman is mourning the loss of a beloved family member.

The Dog the Bounty Hunter star’s stepson Gregory Zecca shot and killed his 13-year-old son Anthony, per TMZ, on July 19 during an accidental shooting at their apartment in Naples, Florida.

“We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible tragic accident,” reps for Dog and his wife Francie Frane wrote in a statement to the outlet, “and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony.”

After law enforcement responded to a call about a shooting around 8 p.m. that night, per the outlet, the shooting has been determined an “isolated incident.” While there have not been any arrests in connection to the shooting, the investigation is ongoing.

E! News has reached out to Naples Police Department as well as Dog and Francie’s reps but has not heard back.

Francie, who shares Gregory with her late husband, tied the knot with Dog in 2021 after bonding over the grief of losing both of their partners to cancer.
