[SINGAPORE] Coliwoo, a unit of real estate services group LHN, will launch a co-living residence with retail offerings at the former Bukit Timah Fire Station in September.

The company last year secured the tender for the property, which is near the Hume MRT station and the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve.

The co-living apartments will have flexible lease terms, with a minimum stay of six nights, Coliwoo said on Thursday (Aug 21) in a press release.

The property will feature retail tenants with experiential offerings, such as urban farming, beer brewing and swimming lessons. It will also have a community garden and a co-working space, with events for members in the Coliwoo network.

The launch of the new property comes as LHN proposed a spinoff listing of Coliwoo on the Singapore Exchange’s mainboard. LHN will hold an extraordinary general meeting on the proposal on Sep 9.

A unit of Coliwoo also recently won a tender for a state-owned property in Pasir Ris, which it will transform into a 350-key resort chalet.

Shares of LHN ended Thursday at S$0.825, up 5.8 per cent.
