Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach have a great day every day—but this time we get to look at them.
Indeed, the Barbie collaborators—and notoriously private couple—made a rare red carpet appearance at the premiere of Jay Kelly at the Venice Film Festival Aug. 28, two years after they tied the knot.
Greta, who costars in the upcoming George Clooney film that her husband directed and co-wrote, wore a grand one-shoulder black gown with a floral pattern and topped with a tulle train. The Barbie director wore her short blonde bob in a slicked back style and topped off the look with a bold silver chain necklace and black stilettos.
As for her Ken, he opted for a classic tuxedo. The couple—who share sons Harold, 6, and another 2-year-old whose name has not been made public—engaged subtly sweet moments during their photo ops on the carpet, making each other laugh and posing hand-in-hand.
