The weather is changing and so is our TBR list.

Indeed, there is a lot to love when it comes to new books hitting shelves this fall, from heart-racing thrillers, fantasy epics heart-melting romances to devour alongside your autumnal beverage of choice.

But summer isn’t quite over yet. Just ask Bolu Babalola, who is turning the temperature up a few degrees with Sweet Heat, the sequel to her best-selling Honey & Spice out Sept. 3. Years after their explosive, sudden breakup Kiki Banjo and Malakai Korede are now separated by a whole ocean—until their BFFs announce their engagement and bestow them with the respective Maid of Honor and Best Man titles. As they call a temporary truce to see their besties down the aisle, the sparks quickly begin to fly—despite Kiki giving her best attempt to stomp them out before they ignite.

Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon is adding novelist to her ever-growing resume, teaming up with Harlan Coben for the exhilarating Gone Before Goodbye, out Oct. 14, which sees a former Army doctor enter the world of glitzy private medicine as she takes on an unusual client—only to be the prime suspect in his subsequent disappearance.
