Hoda Kotb is spending her mornings a little differently these days.

The former Today coanchor shared a heartwarming milestone for daughters Haley Joy, 8, and Hope Catherine, 6—plus a peek at how they’re playing a crucial part in her morning routine.

In photos shared to Instagram Sept. 2, Hoda grinned alongside her kiddos, who were dressed in their first-day best, as they posed in front of their house before heading off to school. Haley donned a denim jumpsuit, black headband and pink glasses, which matched her pink backpack. She also sported a black wrist brace on her injured left arm.

Meanwhile, Hope dazzled in a pair of sparkly tights, purple skirt and white sweater, complementing the look with a tie-dyed crossbody bag to match.

In one snap, Hoda—who shares the girls with ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman—served as line leader as she led the crew on the walk to school. And clearly the walk ended well, as another pic showed the kids smiling among friends on the school’s football field.
