Charlie Hunnam is creating anarchy once again.
The Sons of Anarchy alum transforms into infamous killer Ed Gein in the gruesome trailer for Netflix’s Monster: The Ed Gein Story.
In the bone-chilling preview, released Sept. 15, Hunnam completely alters his voice to embody the creepy murderer and grave robber obsessed with wearing human flesh. But how did a simple man from Plainfield, Wisconsin become such a monster?
Gein confesses in the clip, “I just feel like I’m a puzzle and none of the pieces fit.”
His mother (portrayed by Laurie Metcalfe) then says in the teaser, “Eddie, you’re a mess,” before Hunnam strips down naked and presents himself in front of his mom.
Meanwhile, one of Gein’s young female acquaintances points out, “There’s something real dark about you, Eddie Gein.”
Cut to Gein undressing human corpses and cutting up cadaver flesh into clothing-like segments. He even takes out his sinister obsession on a young woman named Evelyn Hartley (played by Addison Rae) as she sits in lingerie trapped and terrified in his underground workroom.
