The England international provided an assist as Barcelona claimed a 3-1 victory away at Real Oviedo in La Liga on Thursday night
Marcus Rashford has delivered a succinct message following another standout display for Barcelona on loan from Manchester United.
Rashford made the switch to Barcelona on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window, after spending the latter half of the previous season at Aston Villa. His last outing for his childhood team was in December.
Barcelona secured a 3-1 win over Real Oviedo in La Liga on Thursday evening, with Rashford contributing with an assist, marking his third in consecutive matches. The victory puts Barcelona just two points shy of table-toppers Real Madrid, who boast a flawless start under their new gaffer Xabi Alonso after six games.

Post-match, Rashford took to Instagram with a brief but clear message. “Job done. Now focus on Sunday,” Rashford captioned his Instagram post.
While Rashford is still chasing his inaugural La Liga goal for Barcelona, he’s netted twice in Spain, both goals coming against Newcastle United in the Champions League earlier this month.
What lies ahead for Rashford at United after this stint remains uncertain, though his contract at Old Trafford is set to last until 2028.
Rashford found himself benched for Barcelona’s victory over Getafe last week due to tardiness at a team meeting, but made an impact as a substitute by assisting Dani Olmo’s goal and put in another strong performance on Thursday.
The Manchester Evening News reported that Rashford was a mere two minutes late for the meeting, but Barca boss Hansi Flick enforces a strict no-lateness policy.
Other players such as Raphinha and Jules Kounde have also faced disciplinary action.
