Parenthood looks good on Mae Whitman and Carlos Valdes.
While the actress and her partner—parents to son Miles, 14 months—keep much of their relationship private, she recently shared a glimpse inside their new chapter together.
“We went to a wedding,” the 37-year-old—who wore a black, long sleeve sequined dress—captioned her Oct. 27 Instagram post, “and unfortunately for you I am your grandmother and I just discovered photo shop.”
Mae included doctored pics depicting her and Carlos—who was dressed in a brown suit and printed tie—standing at the gates of “Hell,” as well as images showing herself next to a reindeer, nude sculptures, a dachshund and giant meerkats.
The images offered rare insight into Up Here costars’ private world after becoming parents. In fact, the Independence Day star caught fans by surprise when she announced Miles’ arrival in August 2024.
“Not to be a Bieber about it but I too just gave birth to our son, Miles,” Mae wrote on Instagram. “From the moment we heard the first tiny sound out of his tiny piggy mouth we were besotted.”
