James Maddison and his partner Kennedy Alexa have welcomed a second set of twins into the world, with the couple receiving a wave of supportive messages
Tottenham star James Maddison and his partner Kennedy Alexa have welcomed a second set of twins, with fellow footballers Declan Rice and Micky van de Ven leading the congratulatory messages.
Maddison, 29, and Alexa, 31, who began dating in 2020, had their first child, son Leo, in 2021. The couple then welcomed twins Delilah and Rome shortly after Maddison joined Spurs from Leicester in the summer of 2023.
The odds of having a second set of twins are a staggering ONE in 50,000. The new arrivals, Jensen and Frankie, were born on Thursday, October 30, as confirmed by Maddison in an Instagram post.
“Jensen and Frankie Maddison [light blue love heart emoji, pink love heart emoji] 30.10.25,” Maddison posted on Monday, alongside a touching photo of the newborns. “Five a side team complete [face holding back emoji]. You’re a superwoman @kennedyalexa [white love heart emoji].”
In response to Maddison’s joyful news, he received a flood of supportive messages. Among the first to comment was Arsenal midfielder and close friend, Declan Rice, who wrote: “Beautiful [red love heart emoji].”
Tottenham centre-back and Maddison’s teammate Van de Ven expressed his support with a smiling face with three hearts emoji and a love heart eyes emoji. Real Madrid and England star Jude Bellingham posted three love heart eyes emojis, while Brentford’s Jordan Henderson left a raising hands emoji and two red love hearts.
Former Leicester teammate Andy King, Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White, West Ham’s Kyle Walker-Peters, Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson, Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon, Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers were among the other non-Tottenham players to leave a comment on Maddison’s post.
Maddison has been absent from Tottenham’s line-up this season after suffering an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tear in pre-season. He was seen clutching his knee following an off-the-ball challenge against Newcastle in South Korea.
Last Friday, Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank provided an update on Maddison’s condition, revealing uncertainty over whether the midfielder will play this season.
When asked if he anticipates Maddison to return to Spurs before the end of the season, Frank said: “This season? Er.. that I don’t know. The short answer would be maybe. He got the injury on [August 3].
“I think we need to get past Christmas to see how quick he is going. Normally, you would say nine months, as I understand it, without me being a doctor. So, let’s see.”
