Benn threatened to run away with the fight after his sheer aggression in the first few rounds allowed him to gain control. However, Eubank Jr’s championship experienced prevailed and he eventually got his hand raised after securing a decision victory.
The pair now clash for a second time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – with Benn desperate to level the score. With the ‘Destroyer’ fully focused on the task at hand, he has shut down talks of a trilogy as he has aspirations of moving back down to 147lbs and winning a world title.
