Luke Littler previously teased that he would consider doing I’m a Celebrity for the “right price” after his friend Angry Ginge agreed to head into the jungle this year

Luke Littler has quipped that he would “maybe” consider heading into the I’m a Celebrity jungle IF a whopping £50million was put on the table – even though watching the show this year has put him off.

The darts sensation, 18, has been watching this year’s edition of the show to keep a close eye on his friend, Angry Ginge. The streamer’s inclusion in this year’s line-up for the hit ITV show had prompted speculation regarding a potential Littler appearance, with ‘The Nuke’ admitting he would consider it if the money was right.

“Maybe, if they come around for the right price. I might go over for a couple weeks,” Littler said earlier this month when he was quizzed on the prospects of following in Ginge’s footsteps.

But while Littler has now shed more light on what type of figure the “right price” would actually entail, he no longer sounds quite as keen on the idea of joining Ant and Dec in the jungle.

In a new interview with talkSPORT, Littler says: “I said I’d go in if the money was right but after watching all these challenges, I actually couldn’t go in! I physically couldn’t go in.”

Littler was then asked if he’d change his mind for £10million, to which he replied no. When the interviewer then bumped that figure up to a monstrous £50m, Litter changed his answer to a “maybe”.

“It’s just like being around snakes and all that stuff,” he added in order to expand on his reluctance to go into the jungle. He then joked: “You never know, I might be flying over… No I’m not!”

While Angry Ginge is limbering up for his next bushtucker trial, Littler is getting ready to defend his title at the PDC World Darts Championship, which kicks off at Ally Pally next month. He became the youngest world champion in darts history last year when he romped to glory and returns to the iconic venue as the sport’s newly minted world No 1.

Littler, who will attempt to emulate Gary Anderson by becoming the first player in 10 years to retain the Sid Waddell trophy, kicks off his defence with a first round match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
