- Draw made! The final draw has been made, with only teams taking part in March’s play-offs to be confirmed. The draw took place in Washington D.C. with representatives from qualified countries attending.
- Star-studded event: Supermodel and TV personality Heidi Klum and actor-comedian Kevin Hart hosted the event with Former England and Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand and international broadcaster Samantha Johnson conducting the draw itself.
- Tournament layout: The tournament will feature the 12 group winners, the 12 group runners-up, and the eight best third-placed teams advancing to a new Round of 32.
- Some big matches: Group L: Features a high-profile matchup between England and Croatia, a repeat of the 2018 semi-final. Group C: Pits five-time winners Brazil against the 2022 semi-finalists Morocco, alongside Scotland.
- Who else is left to qualify?: The six play-off winners (four from UEFA, two Intercontinental) will learn their final opponents once the final qualifying matches are completed in March 2026.
- When it all starts: The tournament kicks off on June 11, 2026, with the final scheduled for July 19, 2026.
- Trump handed award: USA president Donald Trump was handed the first ever FIFA peace prize at the draw. FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented the award, which included a large golden trophy depicting hands holding the Earth, a medal, and a certificate.
