A tragic discovery was made at Rob Reiner‘s home.
Two people were found dead inside the When Harry Met Sally director, 78, and wife Michele Singer Reiner‘s house in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles on Dec. 14, NBC LA—citing multiple law enforcement sources—reported.
According to the outlet, the LA Fire Department said “a man and a woman were found deceased inside, approximately 78 and 68 years old.”
Robbery Homicide Division responded to the residence, officials shared in a statement to NBC News, noting the identities of the deceased have not been confirmed.
E! News has reached out to Rob’s rep and authorities for comment and has yet to hear back.
While Rob, the son of the late actors Carl Reiner and Estelle Reiner, is known for directing The Princess Bride and Stand By Me, he got his start in the business as an actor, landing the role of Michael “Meathead” Stivic in All in the Family in his early 20s.
