VMAs 2025: Ashlee Simpson Reveals Advice Mother-in-Law Diana Ross Gave on Returning to Stage
Ryan Cabrera and Ashlee Simpson Ross’ relationship did not take a dive.
Indeed, the “On the Way Down” singer, who dated Ashlee in 2004 before their split the following year, admits that the duo still have a bond.
“We’re definitely friendly,” Ryan told People in an interview published Dec. 16. “My wife [Alexa Bliss] loves her.”
He continued, “I still pop by and see her mom at the showroom and they have presents for Hendrix, our daughter. Everybody just roots for each other.”
Ryan married WWE star Alexa in 2022, (with whom he shares Hendrix, 2). For her part, Ashlee has been married to Evan Ross since 2014. (The pair are parents of Jagger, 10, and Ziggy, 5). The “Pieces of Me” singer also shares son Bronx, 17, with ex Pete Wentz.
Though Ryan and Ashlee have each moved on in their personal lives, the Miz & Mrs. alum shared that Ashlee and her husband Evan have remained supportive, with the couple attending his wedding to Alexa.
