Sydney Sweeney thinks The Housemaid did something good putting a Taylor Swift song in the film.

Taylor’s Reputation track “I Did Something Bad” plays in the movie just after the shocking ending—and Sydney, 28, praised the choice as “so perfect” during a Dec. 19 interview alongside costar Amanda Seyfried.

“We were like, ‘We can’t lose this!'” Sydney told People of seeing the clip before the song had been confirmed. “We were like, ‘You have to keep this!'”

Sydney—who has been dating Scooter Braun, the music manager who purchased Taylor’s masters in 2019 before selling them in 2020—believes that Taylor’s music being universally loved makes it a great choice for the soundtrack.

“It brings every generation together,” Sydney said of Taylor’s song, “which is so fun.”

Indeed, Amanda shared that both she and her daughter Nina, 9, are big fans, with Sydney noting that it’s “so amazing” the mother-daughter duo are able to have that in common, saying, “That’s so cool that you get to share the same artist with her.”
