Everything you need to know about the Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua viewing figures and how they compare to Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson…

  1. Joshua vs Fury fight venue: Tyson Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, believes a fight with Anthony Joshua should be at Wembley Stadium next summer. Warren told the Sun: “If you’re going to put it on, either Wembley or Riyadh, that’s where it would go; I believe Wembley’s the home for it, and if it’s Wembley, you’ve got to wait till summer anyway.”
  2. February fight’ impossibility’: Warren has downplayed the possibility of Fury fighting Joshua in February because of the latter’s holiday plans. The promoter said: “For him now to go on holiday and to come back and be ready to fight in February is going to be an impossibility, and I’m told AJ’s definitely fighting in February, so it’s tight.”
  3. Fury’s simple message: Warren spoke to Fury a couple of weeks ago and has shared the simple response he received from the fighter. The promoter claims his boxer told him: “You know what my requirements are; if they get met, I’ll be there on the night.”
  4. Training talk: Fury is said to still be training despite retiring from boxing. Warren said: “I know he’s sort of been he training, not training to fight, but he’s been ticking over and keeping himself fairly well.”
  5. Joshua on Fury: Joshua called out Fury after knocking out Jake Paul. He told Netflix after that fight: “If Tyson Fury is as serious as he thinks he is, and he wants to put down his Twitter fingers and put on his gloves, and come and fight one of the realest fighters out there, then I’ll take on the challenge.”
  6. Joshua vs Fury ‘biggest fight’: Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, made it clear after the Paul fight that they want Fury. Hearn said: “We want the Tyson Fury fight, of course. That’s the fight, the biggest fight.”
  7. Saudi talks: Joshua revealed after the Paul fight that Hearn had already been discussing a potential Fury fight behind the scenes. “The best promoter in the world has been speaking with Turki [Al-Sheikh], His Excellency, Riyadh Season, and now he’s going to relay those messages and speak to my training team.”
  8. Fury’s Joshua fight prediction: Speaking before Joshua fought Paul, Fury sent his countryman a clear message. He said: “Here’s a fun fact: if I ever come across you, I’m knocking you spark out.”
