Cristiano Ronaldo has made additions to his already extraordinary property empire, with a mega-mansion in Portugal and two Red Sea villas being his latest acquisitions
Cristiano Ronaldo is known for his extremely lavish lifestyle, which includes everything from wearing luxury fashion brands and driving the world’s rarest cars to owning some of the most stunning properties in the world.
The legendary Portuguese forward signed an eye-watering two-year contract worth £492million to remain with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr last summer, taking his estimated net worth to £1.4billion.
Ronaldo enjoys his wealth alongside his fiancé, Georgina Rodriguez, who he proposed to in August 2025 after nine years together. They are parents to five children, two of whom are their shared biological children.
Now, aged 40, the clock is ticking on Ronaldo’s playing career as his family urge him to hang up his boots – something he is unwilling to do until he reaches 1000 career goals. It appears the Manchester United and Real Madrid icon has already planned his next steps post-retirement, however, including where he will live, as Mirror Football takes a look at his incredible property portfolio.
Cascais retirement mega-mansion – £30million
Ronaldo is all set to move into a £30million mega-mansion once he finally retires from playing football. Work on the vast eight bedroom property had been ongoing for three years and is now said to be complete.
Located in the exclusive Quinta da Marinha district just 30 miles from Lisbon, Portugal, it will serve as Ronaldo’s family home once he ends his playing career. The huge property is now one of the biggest and most expensive homes in the country at 900 square metres.
It boasts ultra-luxury features and an underground car park to store his £12m car collection. The mansion includes a giant glass swimming pool with an underwater walkway so guests can see who is swimming above.
His family will also be able to enjoy several exclusive features, such as smart heating, a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, a massage room, tennis court and a cinema.
There is a playground area for his children while the family can also relax on their own private beach. The mansion also features solid gold taps, Italian marble and even a Louis Vuitton mural, which was specially designed for the couple.
Seven-storey Madeira complex – £7million
One of Ronaldo’s most stunning properties is on his native Madeira and is the home of his mother, Dolores, 71, and brother, Hugo. He bought a mansion in Funchal, the island’s capital, for an undisclosed sum in 2015 and converted the derelict property into a seven-storey apartment block over four years at a cost of £7m.
His family have access to two Olympic-sized swimming pools, a rooftop pool, a jacuzzi spa and a small football pitch, as well as a five-car underground garage where Ronaldo can park some of his luxury vehicles.
Ronaldo’s older brother, Hugo, has a short commute to the nearby CR7 Museum, which he helps manage, while the Pestana CR7 hotel is also a stone’s throw away. Meanwhile, Ronaldo himself has spent plenty of time at the property since its completion and he flew back there in March 2020 to spend time with his mother after she suffered a stroke.
Marbella holiday home – £1.2million
Having won Serie A with Juventus in his first season in Italy, Ronaldo treated himself by buying a new holiday home in the summer of 2019. He purchased a luxury property in a Marbella country club for £1.2m, allowing him to soak up the sun in the Costa del Sol during the off season.
The property is kitted out with a home cinema, LED-lit driveway and an infinity pool. It is reportedly just down the road from a similar home owned by UFC legend Conor McGregor.
Turin compound – price unknown
Ronaldo joined Juventus for a reported fee of £99m in 2018 and quickly moved into a property worthy of his status as a global superstar. While not much is known about the sprawling home in the Turin foothills, the veteran striker did provide a glimpse inside via his social media accounts from time to time.
The property, comprising two adjoining villas and of unknown value, is situated on a private road with security guards and surrounded by private gardens. From its rooftop, there are sublime views of the picturesque Italian city, while the facilities include a nursery, a gym, palatial walk-in wardrobes and a pool.
It is unknown whether Ronaldo still owns the property or whether it has been rented out since his move to Manchester United in 2021.
Madrid stronghold – £4.8million
La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed Ronaldo was drawn to the Turin pad because it reminded him of his old home just outside the Spanish capital, in the exclusive La Finca neighbourhood.
Situated just down the road from former team-mate Gareth Bale, the £4.8m-valued property of swanky modern design was Ronaldo’s home for many of his glittering nine seasons with Real Madrid.
Visitors to the 8,600-square-foot home are welcomed by the sight of ‘CR’ engraved on the front door, while there are a further 32,000 square feet of open space which include a football pitch and a pool.
Ronaldo is understood to have put his former home on the market after leaving Los Blancos in 2018 but it remains unclear whether it has been sold.
Two Lisbon flats – £6.5million
Ronaldo in late 2019 bought a £6.5m penthouse in Lisbon, making it one of the most expensive residential apartments ever sold in the Portuguese capital. It is located at the top of a 13-storey building next to Eduardo VII Park, offering panoramic views of central Lisbon.
He reportedly fended off interest from two tycoons to secure the 3,100-square-foot flat, which has three bedrooms, a gym, sauna, indoor and outdoor pool, cinema room, private parking as well as brilliant views from the rooftop.
Ronaldo also added a gazebo structure on the roof terrace which drew planning complaints. In 2021, he notified Lisbon City Council he would remove the structure in order to avoid a legal battle with the building’s architect.
The United legend is also said to own a flat of unknown value in the Rua Castilho area of Lisbon.
Red Sea p
It was reported in the lead up to Christmas 2025 that Cristiano and Georgina had snapped up two luxury villas on a private island only accessible by boat or seaplane. The properties are located 16 miles off the coast of Saudi Arabia in the middle of the Red Sea, on the exclusive island of Nujuma.
Each property is estimated to cost £3.5m and they are designed to form together in the shape of a ring over the sea. The villas were designed by renowned British architect Lord Norman Foster, with one of the villas having three bedrooms for family use, while the other boasts two bedrooms.
Other luxuries on the island include a golf course and top dining venues, with 11 planned resorts set to open in the future.
Ronaldo was quoted by the Saudi Gazette as saying: “It’s truly exceptional in every sense of the word. From our first visit, Georgina and I felt a deep connection with this island and its breathtaking natural beauty. It’s a place where we find peace and tranquillity.”
