Liverpool have less than a week to complete any transfers and to send players on loan with the likes of Andy Robertson, Kostas Tsimikas and Adam Wharton dominating headlines

The transfer window has less than a week to run and Liverpool are at the centre of a number of conversations.

Andy Robertson now looks set to stay at Anfield after the Reds engaged in talks with Tottenham over a deal. But what does that mean for Kostas Tsimikas’ time at Roma and reported interest in Antonee Robinson of Fulham.

Robertson and Ibrahima Konate have entered the final six months of their contracts on Merseyside. Even when the window shuts, they will be allowed to speak with prospective clubs to resolve their futures for the summer.

The club have recalled Lewis Koumas from Birmingham, and where he and other prospects spend the rest of the season could still change in the coming days.

With that said, Mirror Football takes a look at the latest transfer news and rumours around Anfield.

Talks confirmed

Roma have confirmed that talks have taken place with Liverpool regarding Kostas Tsimikas’ return, despite Andy Robertson now set to stay at Anfield. Robertson had looked set to depart with the Reds looking to bolster their options at left-back before confirming a deal.

Tsimikas is currently in the middle of a season-long loan deal with Italian giants Roma. A director of the Italian club, Frederic Massara, confirmed that talks had taken place.

“They are all situations that are evolving, we are in a dialogue with Liverpool and we’ll see how that evolves over the next few days,” Massara said.

Robertson is set to stay with Liverpool and a prospective move has been cancelled. It remains to be seen whether the Reds continue in their attempts to recall Tsimikas, however.

Koumas’ next move

Lewis Koumas is closing in on a short-term move to Hull City, after seeing his loan spell with Birmingham City cut short. The Wales international is keen to earn more game-time between now and the end of the campaign.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds feel Hull’s reputation of nurturing young attacking talents like Jaden Philogene, Joe Gelhardt and Liam Delap means Koumas will be nurtured at the MKM Stadium.

Talks are now ongoing and at an advanced stage ahead of a likely move to Hull before the end of the January transfer window.

Reds eye Wolves midfielder

Liverpool could swoop for Wolves midfielder Andre, with a number of clubs keeping tabs on the 24-year-old’s situation in the Midlands, according to RTI Esporte. Arne Slot’s side have previously been linked with the Brazilian when he emerged as a potential signing during his stint with Fluminense.

A drop to the Championship could force Wolves into a sale with clubs from Italy, Turkey, France and England all reportedly keen on Andre. Liverpool have been noted as a side planning an offer with Wolves seeking at least €30m (£26m).
