Newsboy fancies his nap, Wait And Hope, to win at Beverley and also hopes Bowen island can score on the same card and complete his Daily Double
WAIT AND HOPE (3.47, Nap) is well capable of outrunning his odds in the Tyre Scope Handicap (Div I) at Beverley on Thursday.
The four-year-old son of Calyx has yet to find his form since a move from Karl Burke to Ruth Carr. But Carr usually finds the key to her horses and Wait And Hope’s barren run has been accompanied by a fall down the handicap.
