Erling Haaland has tested out what he’d look like bald while he remains sidelined through injury.

The Manchester City star has been out of the fray since sustaining an ankle injury during the Sky Blues’ FA Cup quarter-final win against Bournemouth at the end of last month. However, the 24-year-old is determined to make a comeback before the season comes to a close, potentially also looking to make it to the FA Cup final if the Cityzens are able to put Nottingham Forest to the sword on Sunday.

Away from a rigorous recovery, which includes gym workouts, cryotherapy, cycling sessions in a hypoxic chamber, physiotherapeutic massages, and band resistance stretches, Haaland recently took to Snapchat to have a little fun with his followers.

The striker was pictured with Nathan Ake, Kevin De Bruyne, and Oscar Bobb – who has only played two Premier League matches this season through complications pertaining to a leg fracture sustained in training.

Haaland hinted at a dramatic change of look by using a hair-removal filter on the app, leaving him with a gleaming, bald head. Captioning the photo, Haaland playfully wrote: “Might go bald.”

Elsewhere, Haaland has shared how he spends his leisure time, posting images of himself playing video games such as Minecraft, before dining down on a meal of rice, peas, and jerk chicken.

It’s been almost a month since the forward last graced the pitch, but Guardiola has recently provided an encouraging update which suggests that he could return from injury sooner than anticipated.

The Spanish tactician said: “Doctors told me five to seven weeks. He’ll be back at the end of the season and for the Club World Cup will be ready.”

He added: “He feels better. I said before I don’t know when [he’ll return]. It’s not a comfortable injury… he’s getting better step by step. Still, he doesn’t train with the team, but we will see how he does.”

Out of the reach of Liverpool in the Premier League and omitted from the Champions League, City’s last hope of silverware this season comes in the form of the FA Cup, with a semi-final landing Sunday at Wembley Stadium. If they are victorious, they will go on to face either Aston Villa or Crystal Palace in the final next month.
