Baywatch’s Nicole Eggert Shares She’s in a “Grey Area” Amid Breast Cancer Battle – E! Online
Nicole Eggert is giving insight into her health journey.
The Baywatch star, who was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in December 2023, recently opened up about where she is at in the treatment for the disease.
“I am good,” Eggert told People in an interview published Aug. 27. “I am in sort of a gray area and I finished my treatment, waiting for more imaging and hopefully maybe surgery.”
“And there’s a lot of waiting in this, and it’s sort of something I didn’t really realize and nobody really talks about,” she continued. “But the gray area is the hardest because you don’t know what’s happening and you’re just, when I’m doing treatment, I felt like I was doing something productive.”
After completing chemotherapy treatments earlier this year and subsequently looking ahead at planning for her mastectomy and reconstruction, Eggert—who is mom to daughter Dilyn, 26, with ex Justin Herwick, and daughter Keegan, 13—is now struggling with not feeling productive at the current stage of the process.
