How Gigi Hadid’s Daughter Khai is Stepping into Her Shoes—Literally
Gigi Hadid sure can stirrup the family nostalgia.
The supermodel shared a photo of her and Zayn Malik‘s daughter Khai, 5, riding a horse while wearing a pair of hand-me-downs from her mom. Gigi—a longtime equestrian who resides in rural Pennsylvania—captioned the pic, posted on her Instagram Stories Sept. 23: “Riding in my old boots.”
Indeed, riding horses has become a significant pastime for the mother-daughter duo.
“The priority for me is giving Khai my time when I’m with her, and then when I’m not with her, that’s when I work,” she told friend Kendall Jenner in an on-camera conversation filmed for Vogue and posted Sept. 3. “With riding, I do it when I’m with her, and then when I’m not with her, I’m usually not at the farm.”
While Gigi has kept much of her life with Khai out of the public eye, she’s made rare exceptions recently while marking her daughter’s fifth birthday.
