New Cristiano Ronaldo bombshells teased and could be as big as Man Utd interview

Cristiano Ronaldo has opened up to Piers Morgan once again, three years after their infamous last interview effectively ended his second stint at Manchester United

Piers Morgan has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo‘s most intimate and candid interview to date will air next week. Morgan says he and Ronaldo recently met in Saudi Arabia for an 80-minute discussion.

Their previous sit-down, three years ago, led to Manchester United and the player mutually agreeing to end his contract during the mid-season World Cup in Qatar. That exit allowed Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr to sign Ronaldo, where he continues playing out his career to this day.

Morgan has described their most recent exchange as “amazingly heartfelt, honest, warm and often hilarious”. Morgan has teased the interview on his Instagram account.

“So many people asking me about my new interview with Cristiano Ronaldo,” the caption of his post reads. “What does he say? How personal does he get? Is it very revealing? Was anything off limits? To which the answers are: a) A lot, b) VERY, c) Yes, and d) No.”

“I spent 80 minutes chatting to the (goat emoji) of football at his home in Saudi Arabia, and it was an amazingly heartfelt, honest, warm and often hilarious conversation. It airs next week on Piers Morgan Uncensored. You won’t want to miss this!”

Morgan also shared on X: “UPDATE: The announcement of my new Ronaldo interview has now been viewed 51 million times on our combined X and Insta accounts. In just 24 hours…! This is why he’s the (goat emoji).” Morgan’s announcement post has just over 344,000 views at the time of writing.

Ronaldo last commented on United towards the end of last year. “I said this one and a half years ago, and I will continue to say it: The problem is not the coaches,” he said at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.

“It’s like an aquarium. If you have the fish inside and he’s sick and you take him out and you fix the problem and you put him again in an aquarium, they will be sick again.

“The problem of Manchester United is the same. The problem is not always the coach. It’s much more than that.

“If I were the owner of the club, I would make things clear and adjust what I think is bad there.”
