Newsboy’s racing tips for Wednesday’s three meetings, including Kempton Nap

Newsboy expects a Richard Spencer handicapper to lift the spirits of punters in the 6.00 at Kempton and he also fancies a Jack Channon three-year-old to score a hat-trick in the 5.30

ATMOSPHERE (6.00) can step on the gas and score a fourth career win the Try Unibet’s New Smartview Racecards Handicap over a mile at Kempton Park this evening.

The four-year-old has won twice on the Sunbury track’s all-weather, including over course and distance in October, when he held on to beat Frostmagic by a neck.

Richard Spencer fitted a first-time visor that day and the following month the son of Advertise ran a blinder when third behind Uniting, beaten half a length.

The form of that race has stood uo well since, with the winner scoring again at Newcastle, and the second, Wilhelmina, winning well at Wolverhampton.

My selection has not been seen since, but will benefit from the short break and in a race that doesn’t look the most competitive on paper.

In the opener, hat-trick-seeking SILVER STATE (5.30) will take all the beating – despite a 6lb rise – in the Bet 20 Get 20 With Unibet Handicap over a mile.
