Perrie Edwards Tearfully Details “Horrendous” Pregnancy Loss at 24 Weeks

Perrie Edwards is looking back at one of the hardest moments of her life.

The Little Mix member, who shares son Axel, 3, with fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, recently reflected on a difficult pregnancy loss that occurred just months after the couple welcomed their son in 2021.

“Axel wasn’t even walking yet and we were pregnant,” Perrie reflected during an August 19 appearance on the We Need to Talk podcast. “I found out when I was rehearsing for the Little Mix tour. I was at rehearsals and I thought, ‘Oh I don’t feel good.’ Every symptom under the sun so I was like, ‘I think I’m pregnant.’”

A test proved Perrie’s hunch correct, and initially, the couple were over the moon. However, the “Shoutout to My Ex” singer felt something was off once she and fellow bandmates Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall hit the road in April 2022.

“Every night before a show, I kept bleeding,” she recalled. “I remember sitting and thinking, ‘This is it, I’ve lost the baby.’”
