Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stepping down good news for Western Canada

After much speculation about his political future, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced he would be stepping down… eventually.

Despite some wanting a winter election, Trudeau announced he would be staying on until a new Liberal leader was chosen, and that parliament would be put on hold till late March.
